Good morning MSU Webmasters:

Here is a reference for those dealing with XML schemas.

The library includes a list of schemas (and other definition
documents) broken down by industry/field, website, name, and download.

If you are developing with and/or considering authoring your own
schemas or extending existing ones, this library is worth a scan.

In general, I'm interested in a discussion on who is using XML (beyond
xhtml) in their Web projects.

We're using RSS extensively on the ACNS Help Desk home page (http://help.msu.edu/
), including an extension to the standard RSS2 document that makes it
possible for us to communicate time values more precisely for Service
Status items. E.g., we can identify in the feed when an issue begins,
ends, and when the next update is expected. We use the pubDate element
to indicate when the item was entered into the system.
