On Monday, July 17, 2006, MSU's Kerberos service will enforce a rule that
will prevent users from re-using any of their last four passwords. This will
apply to password changes via netid.msu.edu, including when a NetID is reset
using the PID and PAN. This change is being made to comply with best
practices in security.
This requires a minor configuration change in Kerberos and is
scheduled for 7:00 a.m. No downtime is expected.
