Following the announcement of the June 14 Managing Sensitive Data Town
Hall, some folks have asked if this will be different than previous
town halls and presentations.

The answer is yes, it will be quite different. Our other sessions
have been geared towards raising awareness and urging action in MSU
colleges and departments. This town hall addresses what central
university business units are doing.

The panelists will describe business process improvements that they
have undertaken or are planning. For instance, HR will explain how
they've mitigated use of the SSN for forms and transactions that don't
need it. The session will address the question "What is MSU doing to
protect my privacy?"
