Last night WJRT-TV, ABC Ch. 12, aired about 2 minutes of clips from
separate interviews they conducted with Ward Connerly and me.  Ward
Connerly is the key spokesperson for the national California-based
American Civil Rights Initiative seeking to ban Affirmative Action in
Michigan through its Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI) proposed
Michigan constitutional amendment (Proposition 2) on the November 7,
2006 ballot. I was representing the One United Michigan group that is
supporting the continuation of Affirmative Action and fighting against
the MCRI efforts ("Vote NO on Proposition 2").
