When I used a PC I used "PassWord Manager XP" (http://www.cp-lab.com/) and
absolutely LOVED it. It stores them in an encrypted database, has a random
password generator, can be installed to a usb flash drive and is only $30
for the full version.

When I switched to the Mac I tried to find something similar and have
settled on Wallet ( http://www.waterfallsw.com/wallet/ ). Its good but
doesn't have all the features that I started to love in pw manager xp.

If you have to go free and don't mind loosing a few features, Bruce Schneier
has a free pw manager called Password Safe (
http://www.schneier.com/passsafe.html)
