That is the exact same thing that had happened to two of my customers today
their Eudora in box was hosed.


My guess that clam AV is not stopping the MYdoom.A worm/virus at the mail
server.

Sometimes a slightly older version of the mailbox can be recovered from the
mail users directory.  It is usually named in.mbx.00X where x represents an
integer. There is additionally a TOC.00X file that goes with this, and when
you rename them to the normal suffix you can sometimes recover a users mail
box previous to the current session, that it crashed out.

Hi Joe just lost my in box. So did some of my faculty since Monday. Can
you post the question to the NAG list (lost that address too).

Did anyone else is losing in mail boxes? Some self-executing e-mail that
causes Norton to quarantined the in box. The virus is my.doom.a
Any clue how to prevent that except sanitizer? Thanks Uwe Rossbach
